Toys

Here are some fantastic stories about toys and their owners too. Some of the toys havebear3 adventures, some get forgotten and some are lost. Losing a toy that is special to you is an experience children will understand and this idea is explored in two of the books in this section Knuffle Bunny and Dogger. These stories will encourage children to think about their toys in new ways, invent adventures with their own toys and create toys from everyday objects such as a simple stick as well.

Our patron,  Mini Grey the creator of many picturebooks including two  in this section Traction Man and Toys in Space, has written a fascinating blogpost about toys in picturebooks, see here.
